2012 Graduates Outreach Event Held at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ HQ
November 21, 2012
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ hosted an outreach event for students from Columbia University and Manhattan College at the corporate office in Jersey City, New Jersey.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Vice President Peter Wu, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Civil Vice Presidents Gaby Antoun and Art Blattner, and representatives from Human Resources, Estimating and Belt Parkway Project attended the event. It was the first of its kind in the company’s history that potential employee candidates were invited to meet with executives and current employees and learn about the company by being personally present at its main office.
Peter Wu started the event with an overview of CSCEC, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Civil, followed by Gaby Antoun’s presentation about ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Civil and its jobs in detail. A brief introduction to the company’s benefits plan was also arranged by Human Resources, after which the floor was open to participants for questions and networking. The event was well received among participants as many of them thought it was very useful.
This event was an effective follow-up to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s participating in these two universities’ job fairs earlier. It offered prospective employees a chance to have a closer look at the company which in turn had an opportunity to perform preliminary candidate screening and build the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ brand.
